Apple Delight

Ingredients
  

  • 2 quarts cooking apples peeled and sliced
  • sugar
  • cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ¾ stick margarine softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • dash salt
  • milk

Instructions
 

  • Place apples in baking dish.  Add enough sugar to sweeten and cinnamon to taste.  Dot with 2 tablespoons butter.
  • Mix together softened margarine, sugar, flour, baking powder, vanilla, and salt.  Add enough milk to make a smooth batter.  Spread on top of apples and bake in 350o oven until apples are done.
