Beer Cheese Dip

Ingredients
  

  • 16 ounces cream cheese softened (regular not low fat)
  • 1 envelope Hidden Valley ranch seasoning mix
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese shredded fresh from block
  • ¾ cup amber ale beer
  • 3-4 green onion tops sliced thin

Instructions
 

  • Using large mixing bowl and stand mixer with paddle attachment, mix cream cheese, seasoning mix, and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined and light and fluffy.
  • Add small amount of beer and mix until combined. Continue to add beer until you've reached the desired thickness for the dip.
  • Stir in green onions.
  • Chill at least an hour.
  • Serve with pretzel rod, pretzel chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
