Brisket Rub

Variation that supposedly came from Paul Kirk's Championship BBQ book, then published by Bassman on the Bradley forum.  This is my favorite brisket rub.  The original called for way too much salt in my opinion.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup turbinado sugar
  • cup kosher salt
  • cup sweet Hungarian paprika
  • ¼ cup onion powder
  • 2 tbsp ground pepper
  • 2 tbsp lemon pepper
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire powder
  • 1 tbsp chili seasoning
  • 1 ½ tsp ground ginger
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp ground corriander
  • ½ tsp ground cloves optional

Instructions
 

  • Mix all together.
