Chicken & Sausage in a Crock Pot
Ingredients
- 3 medium carrots cut 1/2 inch long
- 1 medium onion chopped
- ⅓ cup water
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- ½ cup dry red wine
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- ⅛ tsp ground cloves
- 2 bay leaves
- 30 ounces navy beans drained
- 4 chicken breasts boness and skinless
- ½ lb cooked polish sausage cut 1/4 inch thick
Instructions
- Bring carrots, onion and water to a boil and simmer covered for 5 minutes.
- Add rest of ingredients, put chicken on top, then the sausage last.
- Cook at low temperature for 9-10 hours, or on high for 5-6 hours.
