Chicken & Sausage in a Crock Pot

Ingredients
  

  • 3 medium carrots cut 1/2 inch long
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • cup water
  • 6 ounces tomato paste
  • ½ cup dry red wine
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • tsp ground cloves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 30 ounces navy beans drained
  • 4 chicken breasts boness and skinless
  • ½ lb cooked polish sausage cut 1/4 inch thick

Instructions
 

  • Bring carrots, onion and water to a boil and simmer covered for 5 minutes.
  • Add rest of ingredients, put chicken on top, then the sausage last.
  • Cook at low temperature for 9-10 hours, or on high for 5-6 hours.
