Ingredients
- 24 red peppers
- 24 green peppers
- 24 white onions
- 2 pints vinegar
- 1 ½ cups sugar (up to 2 cups)
- 8 tsp salt
- 1 tsp celery seed
- 2 tsp dry mustard or mustard seed
Instructions
- Grind the peppers and onions. Pour boiling water over the ground peppers; let stand 5 minutes.
- Pour through thin cloth or colander.
- Mix with remaining ingredients. Let come to a boil and seal hot.
