Cucumber Relish

Ingredients
  

  • 1 peck cucumbers (10-14 pounds)
  • 12 medium onions
  • 2 or 3 green peppers
  • 1 quart vinegar
  • 7 cups sugar
  • 2 tsp celery seed
  • 1 tsp mustard seed
  • 1 tsp turmeric

Instructions
 

  • Run cucumbers, onion, and peppers through food chopper - salt to taste. Let set for a while or overnight. Drain.
  • Combine vinegar, sugar, celery seed, mustard seed, and tumeric.
  • Add cucumber mixture and cook slowly for 30 minutes. Put in jars and seal.
