Decadent Chocolate Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or margarine (or combination)
- ¾ cup light brown sugar
- ¾ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ⅓ cup cocoa
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 ¼ cups flour
- 5 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 oz Hershey candy bar pieces (milk chocolate or Symphony bar)
- 4 oz white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Mix butter/margarine and sugars until smooth and creamy.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Mix in flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix until blended well.
- Add chocolate last and mix only until stirred throughout the dough.
- Use small scoop and bake at 320 for approximately 15-18 minutes, to desired doneness.
Notes
I like to use Hershey's Symphony candy bars with the toffee bits and nuts substituted for the plain milk chocolate pieces.
