Decadent Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter or margarine (or combination)
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • cup cocoa
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 ¼ cups flour
  • 5 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 oz Hershey candy bar pieces (milk chocolate or Symphony bar)
  • 4 oz white chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Mix butter/margarine and sugars until smooth and creamy.
  • Add eggs and vanilla.
  • Mix in flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
  • Mix until blended well.
  • Add chocolate last and mix only until stirred throughout the dough.
  • Use small scoop and bake at 320 for approximately 15-18 minutes, to desired doneness.

Notes

I like to use Hershey's Symphony candy bars with the toffee bits and nuts substituted for the plain milk chocolate pieces.
