Ginger Cookies
Ingredients
- ¾ cup margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- ¼ cup molasses
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ginger
Instructions
- Cream margarine. Add sugar and continue creaming. Add egg and molasses. Beat well.
- Sift flour with baking soda, salt and spices. Add to shortening mixture; mix well.
- Shape into balls about 1 1/2-inches in diameter. Roll in sugar.
- Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Do not overbake.
