Lemonade Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb margarine
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 6 oz frozen lemonade (thawed undiluted)
  • 2 ¼ tsp baking soda
  • 5 ¾ cups flour

Glaze:

  • 3.5 oz lemon Jell-O gelatin
  • 2 Tbs margarine melted
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • 1 lb powdered sugar

Instructions
 

  • Mix margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs.
  • Combine flour and baking soda. Stir into mixture alternately with lemonade.
  • Chill dough before scooping for baking.
  • Bake at 300 degrees for approximately 18 minutes turning halfway through.
  • Glaze cookies while still warm.
  • Enough glaze for 2 batches of cookies.
