Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 1 ½ cups shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup sour cream
Instructions
- Cream sugar, shortening, eggs and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients; add to the above with sour cream. Refrigerate over night.
- Roll out on counter top. Cut out with favorite cookie cutters. Bake at 350-375° for 8-10 minutes.
- Sprinkle with sugar before baking or ice with sour cream icing after baked.
