Berton's "Nannar" Cake
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 4 bananas
- pinch salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup shortening
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 6 tbsp sweet milk
Instructions
- Mash bananas to a sloppy pulp. Cream sugar and shortening together. Add eggs and milk. Beat well.
- Sift flour and dry ingredients together 3 times. Add to creamed mixture and beat well.
- Add bananas and vanilla. Beat well. Bake in greased and floured pans in 375o oven 30 to 35 minutes. Makes 3 layers.
