Berton's "Nannar" Cake

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 bananas
  • pinch salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 6 tbsp sweet milk

Instructions

  • Mash bananas to a sloppy pulp.  Cream sugar and shortening together.  Add eggs and milk.  Beat well.
  • Sift flour and dry ingredients together 3 times.  Add to creamed mixture and beat well.
  • Add bananas and vanilla.  Beat well.  Bake in greased and floured pans in 375o oven 30 to 35 minutes.  Makes 3 layers.
