Cherry Icebox Pie
Ingredients
- 2 large pastry shells or graham crusts
- 20 oz pie cherries
- 20 oz crushed pineapple
- 1 ΒΌ cups sugar
- 3 Tbsp cornstarch heaping
- 3 oz gelatin cherry or strawberry
- 4 bananas chopped
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 carton whipped topping
Instructions
- Mix cherries, pineapple, sugar and cornstarch. Cook until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in dry gelatin immediately. Cool.
- Add bananas and pecans.
- Pour mixture into pie shells and refrigerate.
- Top with prepared topping before serving.
