Golden Butter Cake
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- ⅔ cup butter softened
- 1 ¾ cups sugar
- 3 cups all purpose flour sifted
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 ½ cups milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Combine sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla. Beat 5 minutes at high speed until real fluffy.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add alternately with milk (starting and ending with dry ingredients). Beat on low speed.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.
