Ingredients 

  • 2 eggs
  • cup butter softened
  • 1 ¾ cups sugar
  • 3 cups all purpose flour sifted
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  • Combine sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla. Beat 5 minutes at high speed until real fluffy.
  • Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add alternately with milk (starting and ending with dry ingredients). Beat on low speed.
  •  Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.
