- 2 eggs
- ⅔ cup butter softened
- 1 ¾ cups sugar
- 3 cups all purpose flour sifted
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 ½ cups milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Combine sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla. Beat 5 minutes at high speed until real fluffy.
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add alternately with milk (starting and ending with dry ingredients). Beat on low speed.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.
