Hamburgers from Prague
Ingredients
- 1 medium onion quartered
- 3 slices bread
- 1 egg
- ½ cup milk
- 1 ½ lbs ground beef
- ½ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp pepper
- 1 Tbs green parsley chopped (optional)
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- 3 Tbs bacon drippings
Instructions
- Combine onion, bread, egg and milk in a blender.
- Add mixture to the meat and mix well.
- Season with salt, pepper and parsley.
- Form 8 burgers.
- Roll in bread crumbs.
- Fry in hot bacon drippings on medium high heat until golden brown.
- Place in 325° oven for 15 minutes.

This is a recipe from a German friend. I serve the hamburgers with the Golden Potato Wedges.
