Homemade Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 6 eggs beaten
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 Tbs vanilla
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 pkg unflavored gelatin
- ⅓ cup milk cold
- water boiling
- 1 pint whipping cream
- 1 pint half and half
Instructions
- Combine beaten eggs with salt and vanilla. Add sugar.
- Combine gelatin with milk, then add enough boiling water to make 1 cup. Stir well to dissolve gelatin.
- Add gelatin mixture to egg mixture along with the whipping cream and the half and half. Mix well. Pour into freezer and finish filling with milk.
