Meat Balls & Spaghetti
Ingredients
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 Tbs fat
- 1 can tomatoes
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 2 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 Tbs sugar
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 sprig parsley chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- ½ cup milk
- 2 eggs well beaten
- salt and black pepper to taste
- 8 ounces spaghetti
Instructions
- Brown onion in hot fat; add tomatoes, tomato sauce, water and seasoning.
- Cook slowly one hour.
- Combine remaining ingredients; mix thoroughly.
- Form in small balls; brown in hot fat.
- Add to sauce and cook over low heat 15 minutes.

Sue Alexander's spaghetti and meat balls. "Georgia, if I'm in a hurry I only add 1 cup of water and don't cook the sauce as long and I use parsley flakes instead of the other."
