Pumpkin Dessert

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Yellow cake mix
  • 8 tbsp butter softened
  • 29 oz pumpkin canned, solid pack
  • ½ tsp cloves
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 2 cups evaporated milk
  • 6 eggs

Instructions
 

  • Cut butter into cake mix with pastry blender and set aside.
  • Mix cloves, sugar, salt, cinnamon and ginger with pumpkin. Add eggs and milk. Pour into well-buttered 9×13 pan.
  • Sprinkle cake mix on top, then sprinkle sliced almonds on top. Bake at 350 for at least 60 minutes. (Toothpick or knife will come out clean when done.)
  • Serve warm or cold with whipped cream. Keep refrigerated.
