Pumpkin Dessert
Ingredients
- 1 Yellow cake mix
- 8 tbsp butter softened
- 29 oz pumpkin canned, solid pack
- ½ tsp cloves
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- ¾ tsp salt
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ginger
- 2 cups evaporated milk
- 6 eggs
Instructions
- Cut butter into cake mix with pastry blender and set aside.
- Mix cloves, sugar, salt, cinnamon and ginger with pumpkin. Add eggs and milk. Pour into well-buttered 9×13 pan.
- Sprinkle cake mix on top, then sprinkle sliced almonds on top. Bake at 350 for at least 60 minutes. (Toothpick or knife will come out clean when done.)
- Serve warm or cold with whipped cream. Keep refrigerated.
