Ingredients
  

  • 1 gallon water
  • ½ cup salt
  • ½ cup vinegar
  • green beans

Instructions
 

  • To one gallon of water add 1/2 cup salt and 1/2 cup vinegar. Bring to a boil and drop in snapped beans. Boil the beans 10 minutes and pack in hot sterilized jars. Use plenty of liquid as this helps keep the beans. Then seal the jars. These beans will keep for years.
  • When ready to use, drain the liquid and add fresh water if you wish.
