Ingredients

  • 3 cups toasted nuts assorted
  • 3 ounces real bacon bits or 1 pound of bacon, cooked and cut into small pieces
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon dry mustard not prepared mustard

  • Add maple syrup and stir until completely coated.
  • Turn out onto parchment paper lined cookie sheet and back approximately 25 minutes, stirring nuts every 10 minutes.
  • Allow to cool completely then break into pieces.

Notes

If using salted nuts, then eliminate the extra salt from the recipe.
