Sweet and Sour Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups pineapple juice
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- dash teriyaki sauce
- dash soy sauce
- ¼ cup catsup
- ⅓ cup vinegar
- pineapple chunks optional
- green pepper strips optional
Instructions
- In large saucepan stir pineapple juice and cornstarch until cornstarch is dissolved. Add other ingredients and cook over low heat until mixture thickens and starts to clear.
- Add green pepper strips and/or pineapple if desired. If not red enough, add a few drops of red food coloring.
