Texas Beef Skillet
Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger
- ¾ cup onion chopped
- 1 ½ tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp garlic salt
- 16 ounces tomatoes cut up
- 15 ounces red kidney beans undrained
- ¾ cup minute rice uncooked
- ¾ cup water
- 3 tbsp green pepper chopped
- ¾ cup cheese shredded
- corn chips crushed
Instructions
- Brown beef and onion in skillet over medium heat.
- Stir in chili powder, salt, garlic salt, tomatoes, beans, rice, water, and green pepper.
- Cover and reduce heat. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes. Top with cheese.
- Cover and heat until cheese melts. Sprinkle corn chips around the edge.
