Turtle Cake
Ingredients
- 1 German Chocolate cake mix
- 14 ounces Kraft caramels
- ¾ cup margarine
- ½ cup evaporated milk
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- ¾ cup chopped pecans
- whipped cream
Instructions
- Prepare the cake mix according to directions. Pour 1/2 of the batter into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake for 15 minutes at 350o.
- Melt in pan caramels, margarine, and evaporated milk. Mix well and pour over baked cake.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans over top.
- Pour remaining cake batter over top and bake 20-25 minutes.
- Serve with whipped cream or frost with a milk chocolate frosting.
