Wing Dings
Ingredients
- 3 lbs chicken wings
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 Tbs cornstarch
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp ginger
- ⅛ tsp garlic powder
- ⅓ cup lemon juice
- ¾ cup water
- ¼ cup soy sauce
Instructions
- Separate wings at joints; discard tips.
- Brown in oven for 30 minutes at 400°, turning once.
- Combine all other ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes.
- Glaze the browned wings and bake for 40 minutes, or until tender, at 325°.
Notes
I decrease amount of sugar to 2/3 cup, and ginger to 1/4 teaspoon.
