- 4 cups tart apples peeled and sliced
- 2 Tbs lemon juice
- ¾ cup flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ⅓ cup butter
Place apple slices in a pie pan and sprinkle with lemon juice.
In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, salt, sugar, cinnamon, and butter.
Spread flour mixture over mounded apple slices.
Bake 40 minutes at 375°F. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
