Blackberry Jelly

Ingredients

blackberries
(1/2 red and 1/2 ripe)

water
sugar
Instructions
Cook blackberries in water until all juice is out of the berries. Strain and measure juice and leave on stove where it will stay hot, but not to boil.
To each cup of juice, add
2 cups sugar
, and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour into sterilized glass jars and seal.
Notes
Jelly does not sugar and it tastes fresh when opened. The recipe comes from Wanda's Grandma Minnie (Ruble).
