Cantonese Pork Chops

Ingredients 

  • 1 pkg Uncle Ben's Wild Rice (not instant)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 4 ounces canned mushrooms
  • ½ cup golden mushroom soup
  • 1 can fancy oriental vegetables drained
  • 1 can water (from soup can)
  • 6 thick-cut pork chops
  • soy sauce
  • pepper

Instructions

  • Put rice, seasoning mix (comes with rice), cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms, vegetables, and water in 9x13-inch casserole.
  • Place pork chops on top of rice mixture and season with soy sauce and pepper.
  • Cover with foil and bake in 350o oven for 45 minutes.
  • Uncover and bake another 45 minutes to 1 hour.  Last half-hour put on 1/2 cup of golden mushroom soup.
