New South Pecan Pie

Ingredients 

  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs well beaten
  • ½ cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup pecan pieces
  • 2 Tbs flour
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch deep pie shell

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell and bake at 375° for approximately 50 minutes or until firm around edges but soft in center.
  • DO NOT OVERCOOK.
