Perfect Pie Crust

- 4 cups all-purpose flour unsifted
- 1 Tbs sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 ¾ cups Crisco vegetable shortening
- ½ cup water
- 1 Tbs vinegar
- 1 large egg
Put first 3 ingredients in large bowl and mix well with table fork. Add shortening and mix until crumbly.
In small bowl beat together with fork the water, vinegar and egg. Combine the two mixtures stirring with fork until all ingredients are moistened.
Divide dough in 2 or 3 portions and shape in flat round patties. Wrap in wax paper and chill at least one half hour before using.
