- 4 cups sugar
- 14 ½ ounces evaporated milk
- ¼ lb butter or margarine
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pint marshmallow creme
- 24 ounces chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla
- nuts if desired
Combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt and cook to soft-ball stage stirring constantly (be sure to cook long enough).
Stir in marshmallow creme, chocolate chips, vanilla and nuts.
Pour into 13x9 pan. Cool completely.
