Ingredients 

  • 4 cups sugar
  • 14 ½ ounces evaporated milk
  • ¼ lb butter or margarine
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pint marshmallow creme
  • 24 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • nuts if desired

Instructions

  • Combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt and cook to soft-ball stage stirring constantly (be sure to cook long enough).
  • Stir in marshmallow creme, chocolate chips, vanilla and nuts.
  • Pour into 13x9 pan.  Cool completely.
