Oriental Salad
Ingredients
Salad
- 1 head Napa cabbage chopped
- 5 green onions chopped
- 1 can water chestnuts drained
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- 2 pkgs Chicken Ramen Noodles broken into pieces
Dressing
- 3 Tbs vegetable oil
- Chicken flavoring from noodle packet
- 3 Tbs sugar
- ¼ cup vinegar
- 2 Tbs sesame oil
- 1 Tbs Soy Sauce
- ⅛ tsp ginger
Instructions
- Mix vegetable oil, chicken flavoring, sugar, vinegar, sesame oil, soy sauce and ginger.
- Toast the noodles and almonds slightly.
- Combine dressing with cabbage, onions, and chestnuts.
- Just before serving, add the toasted almonds and noodels. Toss lightly.
