Union Station Chocolate Chip Cookies

- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 ½ cups oats powdered in blender
- 2 cups flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 12 oz chocolate chips
- 4 oz Hershey's chocolate bar melted
- 1 ½ cups chopped pecans
Cream together butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. In separate bowl, mix flour, oats, salt, and baking powder. Mix creamed and dry ingredients.
Add chocolate chips, melted chocolate and nuts.
Place golf ball sized dough balls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 3750 for 8 minutes.
Makes 5-6 dozen.
