Baked Hash Browns

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds frozen hash browns thawed
  • ½ cup butter melted and divided
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 2 cups mild cheddar cheese grated
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ½ cup onion chopped
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups corn flake crumbs

Instructions
 

  • Mix corn flake crumbs with half of the butter and set aside.
  • Mix remaining butter, salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream, and cheese.
  • Pour over hash browns which have been put in a buttered 9x13-inch baking dish.  Top with corn flake mixture.
  • Bake in 350o oven for 45 minutes.
